Our Company

Powdercloud was born in Whistler, BC, within the spectacular Coastal Mountains. While this destination is well known as a place for backcountry skiing and trekking, Powdercloud consists of an an international team of developers that have extensive experience in developing enterprise level collaborative work environments for the web.

In 2006, Powdercloud’s predecessor “Avert.ca” was unveiled at the October International Snow Science Workshop in Telluride, Colorado with great success. Since that time we have become leaders in specialized snow science management systems. Our experienced team has extensive knowledge of winter recreation operations and practices, along with state of the art web development capabilities. This combination allows us to offer a wide range of products to assist all aspects of the winter recreational industry. We provide a complete environment for both practicing professionals and recreational enthusiasts.
